How long does an appointment take?
It depends on the number of documents and signatures involved. We’ll give you an estimated time frame when you schedule your appointment.
What forms of ID are acceptable?
A valid, government-issued photo ID — driver’s license, passport, military ID, and similar. DMV extension receipts, birth certificates, and Social Security cards cannot be accepted.
What if I don’t have a valid ID?
We can still notarize. You’ll need two credible witnesses with valid ID who personally know you and can confirm you are the person named on the document.
Do you offer apostille services?
Yes. California apostilles are a separate document-authentication service from mobile notarization. See our California apostille services page for state-specific document checks, fees, and routing, or send the document for review.
Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes. Free-cancellation windows depend on when the appointment was booked. Rescheduling is free if the notary has not started traveling. Contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you on the available options. No-shows are non-refundable. See the full Cancellation Policy.
Can I notarize a document in California over video call?
Not currently. California does not authorize its notaries to perform Remote Online Notarization (RON). We’re watching for any change in state law — in the meantime, a mobile notary comes to you.
